About Me	I was born & raised in Minnesota. I graduated from Marshall Senior High School and Southwest Minnesota State University, both located in Marshall, MN. I worked as a forensic drug chemist at the Wisconsin State Crime Lab in Milwaukee, WI for 13 years, and as a computer operations supervisor at Bear Stearns in Whippany, NJ for 16 years. I was an active airplane pilot from 1975 to 2011, and still hold Commercial and Flight Instructor licenses. I reached my financial goals in March of 2006 and retired at age 51. I moved to Miami Beach, FL in September of 2009. I live in a South Beach condo located 6 blocks from the ocean. I spend winters in Florida, and summers at my family's cabin on Lake Hubert near Brainerd, MN. Why Miami? Besides the great winter weather and beautiful beaches, I chose Miami because it has more cultural diversity and liberal ideals than any other city in Florida.
