Sharon was one of my best friends in grade school! Her Dad was recovering from an accident that took part of his hand leaving the thumb and index finger and she helped rebandage it when I was at their farm. They had a 1957 Ford Ranchero, red and white!
Sharon and I used to sneak her Dad’s Winston cigarettes and tried to smoke them without getting caught so we’d hide out in the cornfield. I played guitar for her wedding in Marshall and I don’t recall the year!
I will always remember her birthday August 23, . Her Mom got mad at us once because we had gone down to the laundry room and mixed up a batch of bluing, detergent so ???Her Mom said she thought we were possessed! Today it would be called curious!
Becky and I miss her!
