Class of 1962

Mr. Downs is a Vietnam Veteran who lost his left arm in combat. He is the author of books including "The Killing Zone: My Life in the Vietnam War," "Aftermath: A Soldier's Return from Vietnam," and "No Longer Enemies, Not Yet Friends."

I believe Fred graduated from MHS in 1962 but he may have moved away before graduation. I know he attended MHS and lived in Marshall. He has to be one of the most distinguished MHS alumni.
