Jeff Query, born in Decatur, Illinois on March 7, 1967, is a notable alumnus of Maroa-Forsyth High School, class of 1985. As an American football player, he made a mark as a wide receiver. Query's football journey took off at Millikin University, after which he was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the fifth round of the 1989 NFL Draft, being the first NFL player to be drafted out of Millikin.

Query's career in the National Football League (NFL) spanned several years, playing for different teams. He started his professional career with the Green Bay Packers from 1989 to 1991, later transitioning to the Cincinnati Bengals in 1992 and played there until 1995. Query also had a short stint with the Washington Redskins in 1995. Not just known for his role as a wide receiver, Query also returned punts while playing for the Packers.
