About Me	unable to continue college, worked 11 years at a mfg. company, two years at Fresno State for the Director of Athletics. Retired in 1968 to raise our son who was adopted that year. Did secretarial work for my husband when he opened his machine shop. Was involved in our son's school activities, parent club, etc. and Boy Scouts, as Advancement Chairman. Put together two "Eagle Courts of Honor". Continued to ride horseback and belonged to a cutting club, served on the board of directors for several years. Became involved in volunteer work, and have done so for the past eight years - both at CHP and Fresno City Hall at the information desk, and as a Docent for City Hall tours. Took up golf, but due to the illness of a family member was unable to continue. Plan on taking up the game of golf soon. Continue to attend Alumni events. Was a committee member that helped put together Class of 52's 25th and 50th Reunions. Both great successes! At present, am a boa...(read more)
