I originally join the Navy reserves when I was a senior in 1961. I served in Attack Squadron 65 on board the USS Enterprise, as a personnel man. One of our unit pilot's was John McCain, who ran for President, in 2009. We was send on 2 Med. cruises, and the Cuba Missile Crisis, in 1963. I also served in The 324th Military Police Co. of the Ohio Army National Guard, in Warren, Ohio, as a Military Policeman, and criminal investigator, from 1967 to 1979, when the unit was shutdown, and moved to a different location. I transferred to the Air Force Reserves, 910th Air Wing, in Vienna, Ohio, where I served in the Disaster Preparedness Office, as an NBC warfare instructor, and Noncommissioned Officer In Charge (NCOIC) until 1995, when I retired as a Master Sgt.
