I own a large coffee plantation located on the Big Island of Hawaii, about 2 miles from Kona.It has been a difficult year with a poor crop due to the constant sun blocking by "VOG", the gray/ mud cover smoke from the nearby volcano. Of course I am worrying about the VOG affecting my coffee trees while virtually all of the families nearby to the volcano are having to leave their homes and possessions and flee to a safe location. I spend a considerable about of time there, particularly during harvest season. Oh well, we have so much more to worry about. Next I am off to Israel and then a brief tour through Europe to visit some Venture Capital clients. Hoping all is well with you. "Dave"

Land plus the lava flow has blocked the road, creating a major
Amount of aggrivation. Residents in the area close to the volcano have had to abandon their homes and farms and work to escape from the area taking only the most precious items that they can fit in their car. A very difficult situation.
