About	Official Obituary of Lucy Boatman January 2, 1938 ~ June 21, 2022 (age 84) Obituary & Services Lucy Boatman Obituary Lucy Boatman, age 84, of Grand Ridge, FL, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at the Sacred Heart Hospice Unit in Pensacola, FL. Lucy was born January 2, 1938 in Marianna, FL to the late F.L. Taylor and Lucy Hart Taylor. She was a native of Jackson County and served in the United States Air Force as a Nurse. Lucy enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, drawing, writing poetry, bird watching and anything that involved her grandchildren. She was a devoted Christian and is now in the arms of Jesus. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, F.L. Taylor and Lucy Hart Taylor; her husband, C.W. Boatman; brother, Eddie Franklin Taylor; and sisters, Louise McKenzie, Geraldine Watson, and Willie Jean Rabon. She is survived by her children, Tammy Taylor and husband, Frankie of Grand Ridge, Leah Knight and husband, Michael, Cristi Blank and husband, Charles all of Altha, Jacqueline Hilton of Panama City, Kenneth Boatman of Grand Ridge, Wesley Boatman of Conroe, TX, and Virgil Franklin Boatman of Montgomery, TX. She also leaves behind her sisters, Judy Ann Higginbotham and husband, Louis, and Laura Eulene Kent; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral Services will be 4 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2022 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Barber officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Air Force Honor Guard. Interment will be private and at a later date in Dykes Cemetery in Marianna, FL.
