Robyn was diagnosed with a rare cancer in March 2004. Since then, she received a number of treatments, the most recent of which was a stem cell transplant in July 2008. The stem cells were donated by her father and found to be a perfect match. We were all then very optimistic that this procedure would allow the disease to be managed for many years.

Among the family members Robyn leaves behind is a twin brother, Matt Sherburne, a husband and 4-year old daughter.
