Relationship Status In a Relationship
About Me "It wasn't simply strength of character, latent and unrecognized, but mature inner strength that had been tried, tested and found true; she possessed the inner fortitude of a survivor." I had a heart transplant when I was 15. THIS IS ME: I hate to see people eating alone in restaurants. I can go incredibly long periods of time without talking. I'm more of the "sit back and listen" type. I like my onion rings without the onions in them. I use the word "I" too much. I cannot stand the sound of metal scraping on metal. I can't stand the sight of anything in a cage. I don't like berries of any kind, or any naturally sweet food, like honey. I sometimes judge people too quickly, because I have been judged very harshly, quite often in the past. I like to use proper grammar. You'll never catch me typing "U 2" instead of you, too". There is something I find significant about the number 1044. I hate my teeth. I'm not self-concious about my scars all over my body - they are part of who I am. If you don't like them, don't look at them. Everyone I've talked to and told about my heart transplant ordeal says God wants me here for a reason, but I haven't figured out what that is yet. I believe in God. I absolutely LOVE seafood, with the exception of scallops. I love animals. I always feel bad if something is suffering, no matter how evil or terrible it may be, or what it may have done. I haven't found my "niche" yet. I love to read. I don't think the world is going to end in 2012 - I think it's just a reset button on the Mayan calendar. I wish vampires were real. Boys in books are better, haha. People underestimate me. I associate each letter of the alphabet with a different color. For example: a = red, b = blue, c = yellow, d = green, etc... some of the colors change. I am incredibly unphotogenic. I am extremely sentimental. I dress very casual most of the time, but I do like getting "prettied up" every now and then, when the situation calls for it. I don't tolerate ignorance or incompetence - my worst pet peeve! I don't like to talk on the phone in front of other people. Any time I find a penny on the ground, after I pick it up (once it's heads up, of course) I have to look and see what year it is. When I laugh really really hard, I squeak. I have an iron gut - I can pretty much eat anything I want without problems. I have vertigo. The crust is my favorite part of a piece of pizza - all the rest of it is just in anticipation of the crust, haha I can't stand mushrooms or black olives. I love bread and cheese. If I see a bug in the house, I will do everything possible to get it outside before I have to resort to squishing it. Family Guy is one of my favorite TV shows. I'm a sucker for a good love story. I would love to travel the world - across Europe... Asia... everywhere. I am/have an old soul. I have to take medication every 12 hours for my heart. I love music - all except Jazz, which I just really can't get into, and rap. I can "read" people extremely well. I have some of the most expressive eyes I guarantee you will ever see on a person. I'm cursed when it comes to sports. The song "I loved her first" will always make me cry... always. I used to think the Allman Brothers band were the "almond" brothers. When I was little I thought chipmunks grew up to be squirrels. I look years and years younger than I actually am - I just have one of those "baby faces". I am not in any way, shape or form a morning person. I am a night owl to my core. When I yawn, my eyes water, and it makes me appear as if I'm crying... it's a pain. When I get very overwhelmed/frustrated, I do cry... my body's way of releasing the stress? I don't know, but it's also annoying. I don't like to have bright lights on at night. It doesn't feel natural. If it's dark outside, I like the lighting to be either off completely or very dim. I hate turquoise jewelry... like that gaudy stuff you see your grandmother wear... ugh. My favorite number is 5. I have an excellent memory for faces, but not for names. I'm unbelievably intuitive. I don't swim well at all... and I can't tread water. I sink like a rock. I also get really seasick. Car rides make me fall asleep. Add heat (if it's wintertime) and music, and I'm out like a light in 5 seconds. I absolutely love it when notebook paper gets all crinkly after it's been written on a lot. ...more to come, probably. Describes me to a "T": "I'm the kinda girl that hangs with the guys Like a fly on the wall with the secret eyes Taking it in, try to be feminine ...(read more)
