My brother Mike was born 20 January 1950, just 13 months before I was born. He died after many years of experiencing diabetes, dialysis, and having a kidney transplant. He died in the home he and our mother shared in the Atlanta, GA area. (1993) He was 43. He was survived by five siblings; William (Willie/Bill) of Marcellus, NY; David of Lansing, MI; Peter of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; Jean of NC, and Nancy (Nan) of Sequim, WA. Since then, our brother Peter has also died, (2019) as has our mother Doris Renner (2001). Our father died when Mike and I were young children. (1962)
Mike loved mechanics, assembling new motorcycles and working on his old Volvo. He had an amazing gun collection. He will be remembered for his wicked sense of humor, and for staying in touch by phone when he could no longer travel comfortably. I think of him daily, and miss him greatly. We got through life together. I was blessed in having him share with me.
