National Guard, 20+ Years

In my Junior year Isigned up in the Army National Guard and never had a break in service. I will have 22 years at the beginning of January 2010. I am Full Time National Guard. Most recently I served from end of 2006 to March of 2008 on a 16 month combat deployment to Iraq.

Navy Reserves, 4 Years

In 1989 I enlisted in the Navy Reserves as a hospital corpsman. I attended basic training as well as apprenticeship training in Orlando Florida. After serving for 2 years I was reassigned with the SeaBees. I loved every minute of it. I proved to myself that I was stronger than I ever thought I could be. Was definitely what my life needed.
