| Favorite School Memory | Two: working on the school paper and acting in "The Diary of Anne Frank." Oh--and my buddies Geraldine, Sharon and Vicky! When you're a nerd, you hang with whomever will put up you. They were kind, intelligent and lovely to be with! |
| About Me | I went into the Air Force as a library technician, became an administrative assistant in Beverly Hills for a movie company, then worked in California power plants as a journeyman Instruments & Controls Technician. I science-homeschooled our three kids thru high school. My oldest is R&D hardware engineer at Intel (wife is civil engineer) with BA from University of Portland and masters degree from U. of O.; middle kid has a B.A. from Williams and masters from Hunter College--he's a psychotherapist and writer, and his wife is an editor at a textbook company; youngest graduated from Cornell with B.A. in computer engineering/film, is Director of Platform at enterprise software company. I was copy editor of our local paper for seven years, a board and founding member of our performing arts group, co-founder of annual mushroom festival, and member of city's mural group.
