Dear Class of 75,
By now, you have hopefully received the registration form and questionnaire that we sent out for the reunion scheduled July 31 and August 1, 2015. This will be long, the rambling of a sentimental fool, but I hope you will indulge me for a moment.
So many years have passed since our graduation. I, for one, have had a very good life, yes some ups and downs, some sadness and tears with the happiness and blessings and I feel very fortunate. When Vickie DiSanti Robertson posted that a few people were getting together to plan a reunion, I told her that I would help. Everyone that I am working with on the committee to plan the reunion are what I am calling my new old friends.
I only went to Manzano two years and I did not grow up here as so many have so my circle of friends from high school was very small, I mean we had over 700 people in the graduating class, how could we know them all? There are names that I remember and faces that I can recall even if they don't know who I was.
In case you are sitting there thinking you don't want to attend the reunion, please reconsider and join us. So many years have passed and I can honestly say that getting to know my new old friends is very rewarding, as it can be for you all. In this process we are collecting a list of classmates who have passed on to another life and sadly there are some that we probably don't even know about yet, and this is a reminder of how we never know what the future will hold so we should enjoy each day.
I hope that we all can come together this summer and bond as Monarchs once again, without the drama of our youth or without care for what our appearances are or our positions in life or anything so trivial. If you want to attend but can not afford the cost, please message me and I will make it happen and promise you to keep the confidence, we want everyone to be there.

Graduation was forty (gulp) years ago and it seems like yesterday while it seems like so long ago to me and I really look forward to seeing old old friends and new old friends. Let's make it a fun time!
