Class of 1962
The late Jackie Nau (class of 1962) and I were Cheerleaders and @ the Rams vs Springfield Lamphier game both teams had Black & Orange uniforms. Jackie & I had not been paying attention to the game and when we heard the crowd roar for a TD we cheered. Only afterwards did we realize we had just cheered for the Springfield team. We were so embarrassed we just wanted to leave the field and hid! It was our OMGosh!! moment. Not until we were on our way back to Peoria did we finally laugh about it!
