About Me	I am a wife of 16 wonderful years, a teacher, a nurse, a homemaker, and a cook. I have five beautiful children and two stepkids...above all I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ! God has blessed our home! Psalm127:3 Children are a gift of the Lord. 25 Random things about me... and some 1. I am a stay at home mother of 5 beautiful children. I have 2 step kids that are on their own now. 2. I want more children.....Lord willing. 3. I am a teacher. I homeschool one in 7th grade, 5th grade and 2nd grade and Kindergarten. 4. I have been married for 16 wonderful years to my best friend. We have been together for almost 20 years and we still love being together. We do everything together. 5. I strive to be the Titus 2 woman....but have a long, long way to go. 6. I am proud to say that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. 7. My sister and I grew up disliking each other and now we can't stand being apart. We are 364 days apart. Can you guess who is older? 8. I love gardening, but hate weeding. 9. My favorite movies are Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility and Sound of Music. I also love watching Little House on the Prairie. 10. I am a terrible speller....yes, I did say I am a teacher. 11. I have the best friends in the world!!! 12. I love bike rides, nature hikes and snow skiing. 13. I have an Associate's Degree in Business, but it does not help much in raising 5 kids. 14. I love Christian music, especially hymns and quiet instrumental music. 15. I am frugal/thrifty/cheap! 16. I like the simple life. 17. I went to college and worked for 10 years. I retired to be a stay at home mom at age 30. 18. I have a hard time meeting new people, but once I do I open up. 19. My favorite place to eat is Fiesta Cancun in Mason City, IA....I miss it so much. 20. My biggest fear is icy roads....why do I live in South Dakota????? 21. I am a neat freak, but hate cleaning. 22. I love disc golf and geocaching, and best of all they are free. 23. I like to scrap book, but have not done it in 12 years...who has time with 5 kids. 24. I think nursing a baby is the best thing you could ever do for your baby. 25. I love photography, especially taking pictures of my babies. 26. I hate flying....I get motion sick. 27.
