The 6th annual MCS auction is being held on March 29th. The proceeds of the auction will be used to purchase lights for the soccer field. Alumni are encouraged to attend or send a contribution to help in this endeavor.

Flames Play in District Final
Tuesday night the Boys Varsity soccer team overcame the odds and beat St. Peters 2-1(OT) in a district semifinal match. The Flames team had lost twice to St. Peters during the regular season. Goals were scored by Steven Wilging and Tyler Lilly. They will face Toledo Elmore Woodmore in the district final at Malabar High School on Saturday night.
The Girls Varsity soccer team has advanced deeper into the state tournament than ever by defeating Clearfork 2-0 in their district semifinal match. Goals were both scored by Jocelyn Biddle. They will face an undefeated Findlay Liberty-Benton in Findlay on Saturday for the District Title.

Soccer Teams Move Ahead
Both the girls and boys varsity soccer teams are advancing through Sectional tournament play. The Boys have beaten Crestview (6-1) and a previously unbeaten Huron (3-0) to play against St. Peters in a District Semifinal game tomorrow. The girls have defeated Huron (11-0) and St. Peters (3-0) to advance to their District semifinal game against Clear Fork on Wednesday.

Girls Soccer Making A Run
Tues Oct 16th: The varsity girls soccer team begins tournament play tonight against Huron. They enter the tournament having lost only one very close game (3-2) againt Ontario. Their overall record is 11-5-1. This year's team has a good amount of talent. If they can stay healthy they should make a good run in the tournament.
