About	Joseph J. James, 67, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. He was born to John and Pinkey James on Nov. 7, 1948 in Andalusia, Alabama. Joseph came to Mansfield at the age of 15. He graduated from Mansfield Senior High and went to work at Humphries and Stewarts cafeterias. Joseph loved the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns. He was fun to be around, and he didn’t know a stranger, everyone was his friend. Joseph was a very kind and considerate man. Joseph is survived by his two sons, Joseph “Joe-Joe” Reed and Anthony Reed, both of Columbus; granddaughter, Jackie Reed; special companion, Maxine T. Parks; one brother, Colin James; one sister, Connie James; special nieces, Josette, April, and Michelle James; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Oliver James and Robert Hightower, and sister, Rita James.
Events	A wake will be held on Monday, Aug. 1 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Rd., Ontario. A funeral service, officiated by Bishop William W. Morris Jr., will follow at 11 a.m. also at the Ontario Home. Burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery. The family will also be receiving guests at the home of Maxine T. Parks located at 116 Elmridge Rd. Apt 2 in Mansfield, from 4 to 7 p.m. each day until services on Monday.
