About	Frances Marlene Elliott Harrington, 74, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Ohio Health Hospital in Mansfield following a sudden illness. On December 3, 1949, she was born in Mansfield, Ohio the daughter of the late Norman Elliott and Marilyn Schulte Elliott Buzard. On January13, 1968 she married Wesley Alan Harrington and the two of them shared a beautiful life together until his death in 1994. Frances spent her years working at Autocall until they closed down. From there she worked at Hi-Stat and then completed her career at Mansfield Metropolitan Housing as a housing councilor until her retirement. Frances was born and raised in Mansfield, Ohio. She lived in Mansfield her entire life and Florida for a short time. She did enjoy traveling very much and had many trips with her husband, creating some of her fondest memories. She loved to craft and enjoyed sewing, painting and making soap and candles. She loved to read, especially James Patterson books. Some of her favorite vacations were going to the beach with her daughters and grandchildren. Frances was very proud of her family. She shared a special bond with each of her grandchildren. She was always calm her best response was “It is what it is” and “Suck it up buttercup”. She was always brutally honest. Did not sugar coat anything. She will always be remembered as the feisty, spunky woman that would tell you the truth. Some of her favorite times were sitting out on the porch very early mornings, drinking her coffee and having her cigarettes. Frances is survived by her daughter, Lesley (Thomas) Cassady, their children: Colton (Stephanie) Cassady, Laura (Justin) Carter, Sara (Matteson) Cassady, Kelsey (Alexandrea) Cassady; daughter, Kathryn (Jason) Schmidt, their children: Jaden and Connor Schmidt; daughter, LaTonya Basilone; grandson, Wesley Basilone, six great grandchildren, four sisters and one brother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Harrington, her parents; grandson, Jackson Schmidt and sister, Kathryn York. A special thank you to OhioHealth ICU team. Mom received some very comforting care from the ICU nurses.
Events	No visitation will be held at the request of Frances. She will be laid to rest beside her soul mate and husband.
