About	His daughter, Amanda Nelson, shared the following: "My dad, Terry Lake passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, here in Texas. I am so sorry if you knew my dad and this post is how you are hearing the sad news. Please reach out to me if you feel inclined. I didn't know many of his friends and I'd love to hear your memories of him. He was the life of the party and loved being the center of attention. He loved making people laugh. He always had elaborate ideas - my favorite being bonus Christmas! He wasn't great at keeping in touch with people, but I think that was because for him, time didn't pass. Things that happened 30 years ago felt like yesterday for him so there wasn't a need to reach back out... it was just yesterday. He still cared deeply about his friends and family. Pancakes were his specialty. Steak with Heinz Ketchup was his favorite. There won't be another like him. He will be missed."
