About	Steven Lynn James, Sr., 77 of Shelby, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home on June 22, 2025. He was born on June 15, 1948, in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Lorin B. and Marjorie (Myers) James. Steven graduated from Mansfield Senior High School and worked for Mansfield Foundry and Ohio Brass. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Richland County Fish and Game Club. He loved his grandkids and sharing hobbies with them. Steven was an avid NASCAR fan. Spending time with his family was very important to him. He is survived by his son Steven James, Jr.; his daughter, Heather James; grandchildren, Jessica (Nic) Klupp, Jerry D. Brown III, Sarah Howe, Kristy Fagg, Joseph Skyler James, and Blakely Robert James; great grandchildren, Landyn Hockenberry, Crew Klupp, Addison, Alexis and Tyler; and brother, Gregory James. Steven was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Susan James.
Events	Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday June 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield, Ohio 44902, with the service to follow at 11:00 AM.
