Age 70, of Upper St. Clair, PA, formerly of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2020 after a years-long battle with cancer. Lynn was the loving companion and significant other of Linda S. Holden. He was the loving father of Celeste (Ainsley Mitchum) Doerr, of Sacramento, Ca., Merry Doerr, of Plymouth, Oh., Arianne “Annie” (Justin) Featheringill, of Shelby, Oh.; brother of David (Diana) Doerr, of Fredericktown, Oh., of Diane (Robert) Barnett, of Ontario, Oh., of Gary Doerr, of Sacramento, California; and grandfather of six. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents Richard Alan and Ida Mae (Stanley) Doerr.



Lynn was born and raised in Mansfield, Ohio and graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1967. He enlisted and served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He later went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from Ashland University. He was employed in the medical field for many years in a variety of clinical laboratory positions in both Ohio and Pennsylvania. Lynn was a devout and faithful Christian, who loved to share his faith with those around him. He was also a guitarist, musician, poet, Morel mushroom hunter, and avid outdoorsman. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
