Served 2 years at The U.S. Submarine Base, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii as Chief Engineer of a torpedo retriever. Served on board the ARG-4 U.S.S. Tutuila South Vietnam as a Engineman 2nd Class P.O. maintaining and repairing small combat river craft.
