About Me	In 1961, I moved from Mankato to Salina, KS where I enjoyed Brown Mackie School of Business. I accepted a job with Golf & Carpenter (a brokerage company) and later took a job in the business office of the Salina Coca-Cola Company. I met my husband Bill while he was stationed at Schilling Air Force Base in Salina. Three years later we married and Bill finished his education at Murray State University in KY, while I worked at the Tappan Company and took a few classses at MSU. We moved to Lexington, KY as Bill started his career in insurance and investments while I worked at the University of Kentucky and took a few classes. In 1972, Bill took over an agency in Knoxville, TN where we presently live. He is now semi-retired and independently servicing about four of his big clients. I have enjoyed my administrative work at The University of Tennessee for 36 years. Retirement within the next few years is under consideration.
