| About | Gary Mize Obituary Gary James Mize passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital at the age of 26. Born in New Orleans and a resident of Covington for most of his life. Attended Madisonville Junior High and graduate of Mandeville High School. Loving son of Debra Larroquette Mize and Gary Mize. Brother of Christopher Mize and Brandon Mize. Nephew of John Larroquette, Cynthia Voelker and the late Kenneth Larroquette. Also survived by numerous cousins ... Matthew, Chad, Joshua, Kenneth, Andrea, Frank and Kelsey. A private service was held at Serenity Funeral Home, Covington on Friday, October 3, 2014. Gary was laid to rest at St. Louis III Cemetery, New Orleans. |

Gary was one of my best friends. I have fond memories of him and Max always being together. Joining them for shenanigans that usually had to do with driving around, swimming in Lake Pontchartrain (not the greatest idea), going to festivals and just being kids. I think about him often and try to stop and see him each time I come back. He was a great human. Miss you Gary! ❤️
