Brenda Lee Scheurer, 55, Mandan, passed away Dec. 3, 2017, at her residence. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan, with The Rev. Dennis Rohr officiating.
Visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Brenda was born Feb. 21, 1962, in Mandan, to Clifford and Delores (Schaner) Scheurer. She was raised and educated in Mandan. Over the years she worked various jobs, including the North Dakota DMV and the Red Lodge Motel in Red Lodge, Mont. For the last 12 years she worked at Tokash Bottoms in south Mandan, running "Granny's Garden." Brenda enjoyed playing pool, being outside, and anything in the garden. She had a gift for gab and would talk to anyone.
She is survived by her parents; three sisters, Linda (Dan Emenieth) Bitz, Mandan, Rhonda Scheurer, Bismarck, and Glenda (Clifford) Movchan, Minot; two brothers, Darold "Bud", Denver, and Daniel, Mandan; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Bill Miller, Marcie White, and Paul Waldera.
Brenda was preceded in death by her nephews, Bradley Bitz and Cody Scheurer; and grandma, Madline Bender.
