Robin Mittelstedt Stanton was born Feb. 25, 1962, in Dickinson, to Diane Blessum Mittelstedt and Herb Mittelstedt. Robin died on Aug. 28, 2010.
After graduating from Mandan High School, Robin attended Bismarck State College. She married Ted Stanton in 1981.
Robin lived and was employed in San Diego, Las Vegas and Boulder City. In spite of a severe hearing loss, she was able to enjoy part-time work in the Bismarck/Mandan area in recent years.
Robin was the mother of three daughters, Wendy (Jason), Chicago, and grandsons, Brenden and Donovan, Heather, who is attending the University of Mary, and Tayler, a ninth-grader at Shiloh.
Robin was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. They recall a petite, fun-loving, smiling young woman who truly enjoyed people and loved animals, especially cats.
Her grandmother, Emma Weisenberger, resides in Dickinson.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Word of Faith Church, 1503 E. Divide Ave., Bismarck.
