Sharon Lynn Nagel was born on July 20, 1962, at St. Alexius Hospital, in Bismarck, North Dakota, the daughter of Louis Lee and Jean Francis (Robidou) Tokach. She grew up in Mandan where she graduated from Mandan High School then attained her Registered Nursing Degree at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas.
On March 25, 1983, Sharon was united in marriage to Rex Martin Nagel in Mandan, by Father Don Fisher and Pastor Tom Schmidt. This union was blessed with over thirty five years of marriage, two children, and one grandson. They made their home in Benson, Minnesota and she worked as a RN until her retirement.
Sharon loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading the Bible and Christian books, fishing, and camping. She was called from this life on Monday morning, January 28 at her home in Benson. She attained the age of 56 years, 6 months, and 8 days.
She is survived by her husband Rex of Benson; her children Amber Nicol Nagel of Benson and Matthew Martin Nagel of Minneapolis; her grandson Jeremiah Michael Hess; her siblings Sue (Bernie) Allen of Mineral Well, Texas, Beth (Kevin) Hextall of Midlothian, Virginia, Dawn ( Jayme) Sullivan of Somerset, Wisconsin, Sarah (Mitch) Miller of Ada, Michigan, and Aaron (Amanda) Tokach of Mandan; nieces and nephews; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Louis Lee Tokach Jr., Jean Francis Tokach, Nancy (Tokach) Berger, and Louis Lee Tokach. Blessed be her memory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Lustgarten Foundation, Pancreatic Cancer Research.
