About	Pearl E. (Volk) Larsen, 54, Mandan, died Jan. 24, 2016, peacefully at her home, surrounded by family after a long courageous battle with cancer. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at First Lutheran Church, Mandan. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at Bismarck Funeral Home. Pearl was born June 18, 1961, in Bismarck, to Celes and Eva "Betty" Volk. She was raised and educated in Mandan. Pearl married the love of her life, Bobby Larsen, on May 8, 1993, in Mandan. Pearl had a love for the rodeo scene in her younger days, competing in barrel racing and pole bending. Although Pearl didn't have any children of her own, she treated her nieces, nephews and their children as hers. Pearl's loved ones and friends will miss her sense of humor and love for playing jokes, especially on April Fool's Day. For many years, she worked at Hardees in north Bismarck and then Mandan Drug. Most recently, she worked for Puklich Chevrolet in Bismarck, before her diagnosis with cancer. Pearl is survived by her brothers, Jim (Diana) Volk and Monte (Tina) Volk; her sisters, Elaine Volk and Janice (Gary) Freeman; her brother-in-law, Marvin Klein; her nieces and nephews, Cobey (Anne) Klein, Brittany Klein (Derick), Austin (Amy) Wilhelm, Cody (Mandi) Wilhelm, Casey (Kristin) Wilhelm, Lynn (Andy) Basaraba, Jody (Stephanie) Freeman and Jessie Volk; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sydney and Kelsey Klein, Taylor and Adley Wilhelm, Kaylee, Isaac and Weston Wilhelm, Jaimeson and Alyse Wilhelm, Logan Basaraba, Emily Freeman and Cooper and Bailey Volk. She is also survived by her close friends, Betty and Ernie Berquoist; and many friends at Puklich Chevrolet. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, Celes and Eva Volk; her husband, Bobby Larsen; one sister, Nancy Klein; and one niece, Betty Jo Wilhelm.
