About Rapid City - Rebecca J. Fitchner It is with a sad heart that I must tell you that Becky has lost her ten year battle with cancer. After twenty-one years of putting up with me and raising our seventeen year old son Cooper to be a fine young man, she is now at the side of the Lord. We'll miss her bright smile, strong will and her never give up philosophy.

ebecca "Becky" Jane Fitchner, 48, died April 20, 2010 at Rapid City Regional Hospital Auxillary Hospice House. She was born March 27, 1962 to Ray and Geraldine Haider. She graduated from Mandan High School in 1980 and worked in banking until she married Randy Fitchner in 1989.
They have one son, Cooper who was born in 1992. Becky always lived a positive life, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She believed that "This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice in it."
Survivors include her husband, Randy of Rapid City; one son, Cooper, Rapid City; her parents, Mandan, North Dakota; two sisters, Susie Haider (Dale Little Soldier), Sherrie (Toby) Kuntz all from Mandan, North Dakota, father and mother in law, Glen and Peggy Fitchner, Billings, Montana; one sister in law, Lisa (Bruce) Parker, Helena, Montana; one brother in law, John (Kristie) Fitchner, Boise, Idaho and several nieces and nephews.
