About GRAMP, Richard Alan, 69 of East Stroudsburg, PA passed away on April 16, 2017. Devoted father of Cheryl Lynn Gramp, her partner Ray Masi, Dana Gramp and her husband Conan Magee; Erica Gramp and her husband Joseph Cerutti. Beloved grandfather or "Papa" of Maya Masi and David Masi, Amber Gramp, Justin Cerutti and Quinn Cerutti. Beloved brother of Robert Gramp and his wife Nancy, the late Alice Slusser and her husband Pat; Millie Hughes and her late husband David, and John Gramp and his late wife Mary. He was predeceased by his parents, Gerhard and Mildred (Gill) Gramp, and a niece, Jennifer Gramp. Rich is survived and much loved by 13 nieces and nephews and 19 great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by first cousins in Ohio, Florida, Illinois and Indiana, and many Munier second cousins. Richard grew up in North Haledon, NJ and attended North Haledon schools and Manchester Regional High School. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he served as an aviation mechanic at Bien Hoa Airbase. He later received an Associates Degree in Plastics Design from New Jersey Institute of Technology and was a mold maker for Becton Dickenson and several other companies in Northern NJ. He was a member of the Vernon, NJ Camera Club. He was an avid and gifted photographer, a private pilot, a master storyteller and loved to make people laugh. He will be forever remembered for the "Uncle Richard Handshake."

The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday from 6-9 PM and on Thursday from 1-3 PM followed by a 3 PM Service at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Private Cremation
