Dave was killed on July 18,1966. He was a Navy Corpsman, bravest of the brave. Received a Bronze Star for heroism and a Purple Heart. Everyones friend, great athlete, but most of all a family member of the 1964 graduating class at MHS. From those who fought for it! FREEDOM has a flavor the protected will never know! R.I.P. my friend!

These two children were saved 2 hours earlier. The picture tells the story. Served in the first USMC/SV Cache Unit, transferred to 3/7 M Co. Served as an infantry squad leader, highly ranked Vietnamese interpreter, wounded Aug, 1,1967. I joined the Army during my senior year and after my 2 years of active duty I joined the New York National Guard. Today I am a Captain serving in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan mentoring the Afghan National Police. I have also completed a tour in Iraq where I was part of the invasion in 2003.
