Donald G. Zuccola, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away on Monday, October 19th, at the Brigham and Womans Hospital in Boston. Donald was born in Revere, MA in 1947, the son of John R. and Thelma L. Zuccola. He was raised in Malden and graduated from Malden High School with the Class of 1965. Donald worked for Keystone Automotive delivering auto parts for many years, continuing with the company after their merger with LKQ Automotive in Wilmington. He retired in 2011. He had a great love for New England, and enjoyed traveling around the area, especially visiting New Hampshire and the Old Man of the Mountain. In his travels he enjoyed collecting nostalgia items from New England. He was a skilled amateur photographer, and also enjoyed taking rides in his Alfa Romeo.
He is survived by his long time girlfriend, Kathy Pujo, his children, Christopher D. Zuccola of Danvers, and Michael R. Zuccola of Malden, and his granddaughter, Vivenne.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brother Ronald.
To honor Don’s wishes, funeral services and burial will be private.
