Rigano Santi W. â€œSamâ€ Rigano, 64, a lifelong resident of Malden, died February 5, 2009, at Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett after a brief illness. He was the husband of Judith (Spellman) Rigano. Born, raised and educated in Malden, Mr. Rigano was the father of five children: three sons, Santi, James and Jason, and two daughters, Judy and Cheryl. He was the loving grandfather of Paige, Taylor, Adena and Sammy. He also leaves his stepmother, Nancy Rigano. Mr. Rigano was the brother of Joanne Centrella, Nancy Rigano, Linda Giordino, Debbie Sica, Peggy Aggarty, Patty Sullivan, Ann Corapi, Jackie Storm, Basil Rigano, Angelo Rigano and the late Joseph MacDonald and best friend of Bing Reitchel. Funeral services were held February 10 at Leo M. Norton Funeral Home of Malden.
