About	December 14, 1958 - October 7, 2018 Brian T. “Boog” Powers, of Malden, October 7th. Beloved son of the late Helen (O’Leary) and John J. Powers Jr. Loving companion of the late Kim Gavagan. Brother of John J. Powers III of Malden, Judi Lehane and her husband Larry of Malden, Mike Powers and his wife Karen of Malden and Kevin Powers of Malden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Brian was raised and educated in Malden. He is a graduate of Malden High School. For many years, he worked for the Malden Housing Authority. He also formerly worked for Anheuser-Busch in Medford as well as Federal Express. Brian was an avid Boston Sports Fan. He enjoyed playing golf and played softball for many years. He was a member of the Irish American Association and the Italian American Citizen’s Club in Malden. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Friday October 12th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday October 11th from 4-8 PM.
