He has since competed via handcycle in the Marine Corps Marathon in 2008 and came in first place in his division.

I played bass tuba and toured with the Orchestra throughout Germany and even at the 1958 World's Fair in Brussels, Belgium. (I extended my service term by 3 months for that experience.)
