About	Steven Virgil Brooks, 49, of Saul Street, an unpublished fictional and poetry writer, died Saturday at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach. Born in Maryville, Tenn., Mr. Brooks came here in 1969 from Tennessee. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Port Orange. He enjoyed sports and the ocean. Survivors include his mother, Gay Brooks, South Daytona; a brother, Kim Brooks, Port Orange; and Tamara Nizam, Daytona Beach, who provided for his care. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Port Orange, 316 Church Street, Port Orange, FL 32127.
