About Terrance, known as "Turk" Broxton was born Jan. 7, 1964 in Daytona Beach, FL. He lived in New York and attended PS 174 until 1975. Terrance moved back to Daytona Beach and graduated from Mainland High School in 1981. He loved the outdoors, spending time with family, cooking, cleaning and loved to joke. He was a member of Emmanuel Church of the Living God. He loved his children and grandchildren. Viewing will be Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Herbert Thompson Funeral Home from 6p.m. - 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Church of the Living God, 54 South Ridgewood Ave., Ormond Beach, FL 32174, with Bishop Dr. L. Delores Ward, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, 320 White Street following the service. Repast will follow graveside service at Emmanuel Church of the Living God. He is predeceased by his son; father, Theordore R. Broxton; his sister, Theodora (James) Williams; and grandmother, Islean Myers. He leaves to cherish: mother, Daisy Jackson; three daughters: Sherika Wilson (fiance Byron), Lena Stanley (fiance Derrick), La'Shonda Broxton; mother of children, Bridgett Stanley; siblings: Armin (Jackie) Gray, Theodore (Flora) Broxton; Mercedes (Kenneth) Kirksey; Anita (Joe) Brown Jr., known as "JB", all of Daytona Beach; Thaddeus Broxton; Ervin Broxton-Carryville, FL; Cheryl (Vertellis) Kendrick of Orlando, FL; Doris (Larry) King of Ormond Beach; Deitrich (Tony) Mozone of New York; Laquita (Michael) Rose of Alabama; seven grandchildren: Natalie Brown; Marcus Anderson; Aniya Means; Deioan Means; Derionna Means; Na'Riyah Means; Ny'Keem Means; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He also loved Neicy, Felicia, Danicia as sisters.
