About | On Sunday, July 3, 2011 after a long illness, Tawana Monique Kennedy, 37, of Daytona Beach, passed away at Halifax Medical Center with her loving and devoted family at her side. Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 635 Madison Ave. Visitation will be today from 5 - 7 PM at Pinello Funeral Home, 1036 Derbyshire Road, Daytona Beach and Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Tawana was born July 1, 1974 in Daytona Beach to the parents of Deborah and Charles Wingfield and Jerry Irvin. She was a faithful member of Gray's Memorial Church of God In Christ. She enjoyed her family, friends, leading praise and worship and praise dancing to edify her spirit as well as others. Before her illness she was a dedicated employee of Twin Lakes Surgical Center as a Medical Review Insurance Specialist. She was a beautiful person who touched many lives with her loving and compassionate sense of humor and heavenly personality. She is predeceased by her first born Tame' Kennedy, biological father Jerry Irvin and grandfather Frank Pompey, Sr. She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband of fourteen years Maurice Kennedy; two daughters, Marissa and Destiny Kennedy; four sons, Maurice Jr., Justin, Jeremy and Sulaiman Kennedy; three sisters, Katrina Wingfield-Gilliam, Angela Ross and Tamika Irvin; seven brothers, Shawn, Brandon and Andre' Wingfield, Jerry, Robert and Christopher Irvin, Laron Douglas and Antione (T.T.) Toliver; grandmother, Dorothy L. Pompey; great-grandmother, Parry L. Brooks; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. Arrangements entrust to Pinello Funeral Home under the direction of Alonia P. Gainous. |
