About Funeral service for Lynette Hall, who departed this earth on February 2, 2011, to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, Rev. Nathan Mugala, pastor. Calling hours will be on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Herbert Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Lynnette was born Dec. 8, 1966 in Daytona Beach, FL to Rosemary James and Willie A. Shephard. From infancy she was the love, joy and princess of her dad, John D. Jackson and mom, Rosemary James-Jackson. She resided in Austell, GA. She attended public school in East Orange, N.J. and Volusia County, graduating in 1984 from Mainland High School, Daytona Beach, FL. She received an A.A. Degree from Phillips College and continued her education in Texas and Virginia. Lynnette was a gifted beautician and home decor decorator. Lynnette received Christ at an early age at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church and Mt. Mission Missionary Baptist Church. She was a member of Hope Fellowship Church before moving to Wiesbaden, Germany; attended Faith Christian Center, Smynra, GA; and at the time of her death Lakeside Family Life Church, Pastor Daryl Sheard and Minister April Sheard, where she rededicated her life to Christ. She is preceded in death by her dad, John D. Jackson, father, Willie A. Shephard, maternal grandparents, Joe James and Gladys Edwards, maternal grandmother, Rosa Edwards, paternal grandparents, Willie A. and Annie Shephard, and brother Leon Buchanan. Survivors include husband Kennedy S. Hall; LeQueya T. Hall, daughter; Kennedy L. Hall, son; and grandson, Jaiden D. Gordon, Daytona Beach, FL; mother, Rosemary James-Worship (Ruben), Daytona Beach, FL; brothers, Derrick G. Jackson (Ester), Palm Coast, FL, Kevin R. Jackson (Sonya), Hiram, GA, MarQues D. E. Smith, Tampa, FL, Cory Shephard, North Carolina, Willie Shephard, GA; maternal aunts, Joeretha James, Melvee F. Crumiell, Daytona Beach, FL and Mercedes F. Coleman (Leroy); grandmother, Arssie Jackson, Daytona Beach, FL; a host of paternal aunts and uncles; mother-in-law, Patricia Hall, Daytona Beach, FL; brothers-in-law, Bennie L. Hall Jr., Daytona Beach, FL and Lorenzo Strickland; sisters-in-law, Ericka Hall- Felton, Eartha Hall-Starling, Brandi Hall, Issac Hall III (Teasha) Daytona Beach, FL and Darlene Hall, Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a loving dedicated cousin, Robin Wiley, Powder Springs, GA.
