About Michael Anthony Wilson was born September 2, 1966 in Daytona Beach, FL to the late Mr. Bradow Samuel Wilson, Sr. and Mrs. Ella Bell Wilson. Michael came to a quiet closure on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 He attended Bonner Elementary, Holly Hill Junior High School and graduated from Mainland Senior High School in 1983. He was active in modern dance and the Glee Club. He also attended Daytona State College. He was a certified Nursing Assistant, and employee of the Volusia County School Board transportation department, Volusia County Transit (VOTRAN) and Zuba Bus System. Michael attended St. James Missionary Baptist under the leadership of the Reverend Eddie L. Yorker, Sr. He loved singing, dancing, dressing to impress, riding his motorcycle, and just hanging with his family and close friends. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted mother, Mrs. Ella B. Wilson; three loving sisters, Rebecca A. Wilson (Evett), Joy D. Shellings and Nellie J. Anderson; six loving brothers: Albert L. Wilson, Bradow S. Wilson, Jr., Roosevelt L. Wilson, Wayne J. Wilson (Diane), Charles E. Wilson (Nakily'a), Bernard R. Wilson (Hazel); aunts, Margarette Duggans, all of Daytona Beach, FL; Mammie Hardwick, Murtice Giles (Wisconsin), Addie and Ruth Middleton (Georgia), Louise McGill, Lenora Fulton, Edith Jones (Arthur), Jean Jones (Preston), Naomi Smith (Bobby), all of Daytona Beach, FL, Ollie Cue, Tallahassee, FL, Lottie Wilson, South Carolina, Evelyn Yorker, Daytona Beach, FL; one uncle, Reverend Eddie L. Yorker, Sr., Daytona Beach, FL; special cousins, Tasha Washington, Tony Broxton, Daytona Beach, FL; special friends, Darryl Gurgenious, Viola Miller, Lucille and Clyde Gibson, all of Daytona Beach, FL, and Lamonte, Palm Coast, FL; extended family, Lawrence and Mildred Broxton family; god sister Rosetta Kohn. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends, Public viewing will be today (Friday, September 10, 2010) from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Herbert Thompson Funeral Home. Service will be Saturday, September 11, 2010, 2:00 P.M. at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, 580 George W. Engram Blvd. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
