About Robert (Bob) E. Wrenn, Sr., 81, Ormond Beach, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009. He was born on August 19, 1928 in Daytona Beach to the late Gaston (Bill) and Theata Barbour Wrenn. He graduated from Mainland High School in 1947 where he was a star athlete, excelling in track and football. After graduation, Bob began working as a Carpenter, a profession he continued for 45 years. He was a longtime member of Daytona Christian Church where he served as Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He was also a founding member of Tomoka Christian Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, baseball and Nascar racing. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carol; his daughters, Sherry and Kathleen Wrenn; his son, Robert, Jr. (Barbara); granddaughter, Jennifer Short (Jon); and his beloved beagle, Judy. He is preceded in death by his sister, Judy Bryant. At Bob's request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Daytona Christian Church.
