About	Roya Jo Serafini born October 8, 1976 died of a silent killer, seizure disorder on April 18, 2009. She was born in Elk Grove Village, Illinois and moved to Daytona Beach in 1978. She graduated from Mainland High School and immediately joined the Halifax Medical Center team, where she worked for more than 14 years. Her love in life was her home and family and any animal hurt or in need. She believed strongly in volunteer work and started her volunteer career at the age of 5 for MDA. She continued to volunteer for the next 25 years. Her love for the hurt or impaired was a life long commitment. She leaves behind her mother Joanne Serafini; her beloved grandmother, June Serafini; her aunt, Myrna Moore; her uncles, Bill, Joe, Serafini, Dr. Jim Moore; and her favorite cousin, who she treated like a brother, Tyler Moore. She also leaves behind many cousins. Her parting to all was a hug and I Love You. Her parting from us has left broken hearts.
