About Funeral service for Julian William Walton, III, 30, affectionately known as "Tres" will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 12:00 noon at Greater Friendship Baptist Church in Daytona Beach. Services of Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Calling hours will be today (Friday, January 23, 2009) from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stewart Memorial United Methodist Church. Julian William Walton, III, 30, left this life on January 19, 2009. His early life was spent in Jacksonville, Florida where he attended elementary and the beginning of his junior high school years. He moved back to his birthplace with his mother to Daytona Beach in 1991 and attended Ormond Beach Middle and Mainland High School where he graduated cum laude. After high school he attended Florida State University, graduating in 2001 with a degree in English/Creative Writing. He was employed as an Account Executive at Brown and Brown Insurance Co. Tres knew the Lord as his personal savior. He is survived by his wife, Renae; children, Julian, IV, Jasmine Tonia, and Jaylen Sirr; mother, Janice W. Walton; father, Julian Walton, Jr., of Jacksonville; brother, Ricardo K. Wright, Sr. and sister-in-law, Tonya; sister, Pamela Walton; maternal grandparents, Robert K. and Loretta O. Wright; uncles, Robert Keith Wright, Sr. and Charles W. Walton, of Atlanta; aunt, Patrice Walton Fenceroy, of Atlanta; grandmother-in-law, Jacqueline Haddox; brothers-in-law, Bobby Jackson, Jr. and Carlos Tavares; sister-in-law, Tina Jackson; nephews, Ricardo, II, Kyle and Bobby, Jr.; nieces, Ebony-Ashley, Imaiya-Milan and Kacey; cousins, Carol Osgood, Judy Jones and Gloria Epps, of Palatka, FL; God-parents,Nathaniel and Susan Freeman; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund will be established for the children. Donations can be made to the Julian, Jasmine and Jaylen Walton Scholarship Fund at Bank of America. Checks can be made payable to Janice W. Walton. Herbert Thompson Funeral Home, Daytona Beach is in charge.
