About Chief Warrant Officer Timothy R. He was killed in the crash, along with his co-pilot. Both men were members of the 1st Armored Division’s 12th Combat Aviation Brigade.

Breneman graduated from Mainland High School in 1989 and became an Army Ranger in 1994 after studying art and photography at Daytona Beach Community College.

“We have all these happy thoughts of things he did as a kid,” said his mother, Flo Breneman. “He had a wonderful sense of humor, and no matter what he did, we were proud of him — and there is so much he did.”
