Mariann Lynn Lorch Obituary
Mariann Lynn Lorch, a blooming flower of love and joy, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, in McHenry, IL, at the age of 70. Born on November 17, 1955, in Chicago, IL, Mariann's life was a melody of kindness, compassion, and unrestrained enthusiasm for the beauty of living.

Mariann's spirit was a vibrant tapestry woven with the threads of music, dance, and the love of her family. She was the life of every gathering, a woman whose laughter was contagious and whose presence was a comfort. Mariann's love for concerts and music was more than a hobby; it was the rhythm of her life. She danced through the decades with a passion that never waned, and her spirited nature often led her to be fondly described as a hippie with a big heart.

Her giving nature knew no bounds. Mariann would extend a helping hand to anyone in need, embodying the very essence of generosity. She was the cherished matriarch of her family, survived by her loving daughters, Tiffany and her husband Russell, Carrie and her husband Anthony, and Angie and her husband Ken. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, Russell Jr., Valkyrie, Serina, Ashton, Vincent, Connor, and Daniel Jr., each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.

Mariann was a sister, a friend, and an unwavering source of support. Her sister, Judy Lorch, stands as a testament to the unbreakable bond of siblings, a relationship that Mariann treasured deeply. She was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Robert and Lavern, and her brother, Robert Jr, with whom she now reunites in eternal peace.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Mariann will remember her as loving, passionate, and spirited. She was the embodiment of warmth, her embrace a sanctuary for those she called her own. Mariann was often thought of as a second mother or grandmother by many, her nurturing soul leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who crossed her path.

As we bid farewell to Mariann Lynn Lorch, we celebrate a life richly lived and a woman profoundly loved. Her memory will continue to dance in the hearts of those she touched, a legacy of love that will resonate through the generations. Mariann's life was a symphony of joyous moments, and her melody will play on, a sweet and enduring echo of the love she shared so freely.
