I lost my class ring in1952 on a troop ship enroute to Bremerhaven, Germany

In 1952, I lost my 1951 class ring on the USS General Butner troop ship as I was being transported overseas to France from San Francisco through the Panama Canal. The ring had a black onyx on the base of it, with the letter" M" in the middle.. On one side of the ring was an emblem of a Bible on one side, and on the side I forget what was on it..I think it had something to do with academics.
