| About Me | I have been involved in Television Operations since 1966. I started as a cameraman for a local CBS TV station in Columbus, Georgia, 1969 moved up to CBS in Atlanta, then in 1969-70 to NBC in Jacksonville, and in 1970-71 I accepted a job at ABC Wide World of Sports in Hollywood. In 1973 I went to Caracas Venezuela where I helped start the first color facility in the country as a Technical Director and Director, and moved back to NY in 1975. Problems with my eyesight caused me to move from camerawork to TD and editing. Worked for ABC again for 1 year editing soap operas, and freelanced at EUE Screen Gems and other NY facilitied until 1978. Moved back to Hollywood and worked for Metro Tape West editing sitcoms for Norman Lear. Moved back to NY in 80-81 as senior editor and Director of Post Production for MTI. 1985 took a job as Senior Applications Specialist at the Grass Valley Group in Grass Valley, California designing edit systems for TV and film and training editors worldwide.
