| About Me | I am a child of the Most High God. Jesus Christ is my Lord and my Savior and I will love Him for all eternity. I am an ambassador for Him and I will speak for Him every where I go. My husband, David, and I are very close. We do just about everything together. On February 4, we celebrate our anniversary. We are ministers, handyman, tax preparer, gardeners, and cooks/bakers. We stay busy, But never too busy for friends. (Update: since joining facebook, there are changes here. My grandson now stays with me here in Alabama where I home school him. My father passed away Nov.10, 09. and my Little Man passed away too. I now have Annabelle, a one year old Yorkie who weighs 12 lbs. Her mate weighs 4 lbs. and I hope the puppies turn out to be small. My dreams of carrying her everywhere were gone when she got over 7 pounds. Too heavy all the time.)I graduated high school and went into the army. Ibecame a mom and divorced. I went on to college and got a 2yr degree. I met David and lived with him for almost 5 years before I met Jesus. We married in 1993 and then my husband met Jesus and we began our walk with the Lord together. Happy ever after, right? Not!!!! We have had our troubles and trials in marriage, finances, health, and addictions, and we have had some intense fellowship, but we have overcome so much. We are the victors in many battles so far throough Jesus. Now we use our experiences to help others. He is a preacher/evangelist and I sing and speak. We are both ministers. I had my daughter, Jessica, when I was in Germany. Life was not easy for me while I was raising her. We didn't have much. She married when she was 16 and then she had my grandson, Devin Robert Kennedy when she was 20. He is 10 now, and he has been my pride and joy all these years. I cannot tell you how I felt when he was born and I held him for the very first time. Jessica is living in Tennessee with her husband, Robert. I live in Alabama and I don't get to see them much. I sure miss them. I have a boathouse in Tennessee. It is a floating house sitting out in the middle of the lake. I love it there. It is good clean water, all the comforts of home, and plenty of fishing. It is peaceful and beautiful. David and I lived there for four years, before we moved to Alabama. My sister, Donna, and her 5 children live in Tennessee. My mother lives there half the year, and in Florida the other half. I have and uncle and two cousins living there. My grandmother lives in Kentucky. My dad We have quite a gathering for just a family barbeque. We have one Pekingnese, Little Man, 13 yrs. And one Grand-dog Alex, a 4lb Yorkie. David and I have had our own roofing company, then went to our own contracting business. We have built many houses from the ground up, remodeled old plantation homes, and done just about everything in building. Now he is a handyman. He does everything but heating/air systems and septic tanks. I am his laborer most of the time, helping him on the jobs, but we try to keep one person hired to help him, so I can stay home. I handle all the books, phone calls, appointments, etc. I also do taxes, so this is my busy time of the year. We dig ginseng and sell it. We fish. He cooks good. I do salads and bake. We garden together and then we can and freeze what we grow. We make pickles, jams, sauerkraut, and salsa. We play Phase 10 with our grandson. We do jigsaw puzzles and paint by number kits together. I clean the inside of the house, he cleans the outside and takes care of our vehicles. He is so smart. Talented. Skilled. Now we are in one mind and one ac...(read more) |
