Allen C. Trimble
Class of 1966
As Commonwealth Attorney for Whitley and McCreary Counties, Trimble was selected as Kentucky's Outstanding Commonwealth Attorney for 2017.
The award was presented by Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear at the annual Prosecutors Conference held in Lexington. This is the second time Trimble has won the award, having also been awarded in 2007.
Trimble is Kentucky's longest serving Commonwealth Attorney being first elected in 1987 and re-elected for 4 additional terms since then.
